Ethiopian Media Authority issues written warning to Associated Press

The Associated Press (AP) has recently reported news that far from the reality concerning 6th national election postponed.

The Ethiopian Media Authority issued a statement on the matter.
The Director General of the Ethiopian Media Authority, Mohamed Idris said Associated Press has made a false report that the election was extended due to the ongoing war in the Tigray region.

He said the Ethiopian Media Authority had issued a written warning following a misrepresentation by the Associated Press.
He further warned that similar action would be taken against media outlets licensed in Ethiopia but not in accordance with the law and order.
