According to the Minister of Revenue, Lake Ayalew, over the past 11 months, more than 20.7 billion birr has been allocated to the states.
Compared to the same period of the previous 11 months of the previous fiscal year, it has grown by 16.6 billion birr or 400.14%.
The Minister of Revenue, Lake Ayalew, said the money will play a significant role in covering the development costs of the states.
It is said that the revenue generated to the states was collected only from excise, turnover, VAT and business income tax.
It is stated that the share of the common income has been increased due to the improvement in the revenue collection capacity of the institution and the ability of the institution to carry out the distribution properly according to the distribution formula.
