Briefing from the National Electoral Board of Ethiopia
The 6th national election ended peacefully yesterday.
Accordingly, the results of the census are being announced at the polling stations today. Voting will continue today in areas where voting was not completed yesterday.
Accordingly
- Voting continues in all constituencies of Sidama State starting at 5:00 am and will end today.
- Voting in some constituencies in Gambella State will continue today at 8:00 am and will end today.
- In Benishangul-Gumuz, the voting process in two constituencies has been suspended and the Board informs the executives to ensure that all materials are sealed. Accordingly, the Board will review the next voting situation and the progress made so far and make a decision.
