Oromia Political Parties Joint Consultative Forum said that the 6th national election was a peaceful and democratic victory.
In a press statement issued today, the Consultative Forum said the completion of the sixth national election will be a historic victory for the most peaceful and democratic elections in the country.
The forum, which was formed by political parties operating in the Oromia region, said it had identified the grievances of the June 14 by-elections and resolved those that could be resolved in a timely manner.

The forum said the country has embarked on a step forward in building a democratic system, with the exception of a few problems, in which the people went to the polls peacefully and cast their votes peacefully.
The seven-party forum said political parties need to work together for a country. He said the parties are ready to work together with the winning party for nation building and development. He commended the Ethiopian people for their generosity in the election and thanked the security forces for their participation in bringing the day to a peaceful end.
