Five Thousands of youths of Sidama National Regional State to join the Defense Forces
Sidama National Regional State Prosperity Party Office Head, Abraham Marshalo, said more than 5,000 youths from all woredas and city administrations in Sidama State have voluntarily registered in the first round alone to join and strengthen the national defense force.
He said the people of the state have expressed their readiness to defend the country from external pressures and harassment.
Residents of the state, rural and urban areas, members of the business community, investors, government officials and employees, as well as other bodies are actively participating in the support work, he said, adding that support will be strengthened tomorrow.
