Ethiopia: The National College of Information and Security, under the auspices of the National Intelligence and Security Service (#NISS), has graduated Republican Guard members trained for VIPs and key infrastructure security detail.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Director General of NISS, Temesgen Tiruneh, said members of the Republican Guard members are entrusted with great responsibility, adding they have been instrumental in ensuring the safety and national security of the country. He further said that the graduates have received training from the University College to enable them to carry out their mission efficiently and with discipline.
The Deputy Commander of the Republican Guard, Brigadier General Abduro Kedir, on his part stated that members of the Republican Guard are fulfilling a number of national obligations, including discharging their duties in coordination with other forces to fight in the war to repel attacks from TPLF forces.
Wondwosen Kassa, President of the National College of Information and Security University College, said members of the Republican Guard have been trained to be able to effectively discharge their national missions.
