Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia donates 4m birr worth of items to IDPs in the Amhara region

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia has donated today (December 12) about 4 million birr worth of food and non-food items to displaced people in the Amhara region.
A delegation of the Ministry, led by State Minister H.E. Ambassador Birtukan Ayano, has handed over the donation to pertinent bodies in Bahirdar.
During the delivery of the items, State Minister H.E. Ambassador Birtukan Ayano said today’s support is a testament to the Ministry’s solidarity with people affected by the conflict.
Besides representing the country in the diplomatic sector, staffers of the Ministry are committed to supporting people who are suffering from the destructive acts of the TPLF, she added.
The Ministry’s delegation has also paid a visit and hosted dinner to soldiers encamped in Bahirdar.
Ambassador Birtukan thanked the soldiers for their sacrifices and expressed her confidence that Ethiopia would prevail at last.
Renowned singers, that accompanied the delegation, have also entertained the soldiers.
