Russia says it has destroyed more than 70 Ukrainian military bases
Russia’s Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashev said in a statement that Moscow had destroyed more than 70 Ukrainian military targets, including 11 air force orders.
Following this, Igor Konashenkov announced that Russian military forces had destroyed 74 Ukrainian military installations so far.
Among them are 11 Air Force Commands, 18 anti-aircraft radar stations and three military command post centers.
According to the TRT, the two countries’ forces are fighting to control the air force near Kiev.
Ukraine says it has shot down a Russian helicopter flying over Kiev and five planes.
Moscow is implementing a UN Charter and a friendship agreement between Russia and the Donetsk and Lugansk republics.
Russia also said that the aim of the military operation was to clear anti-Russian Nazis in the Ukraine.
