The Minister council approved more than 786 billion birr for the 2015 budget year
The Cabinet in its 9th regular session approved a budget of 786.61 billion birr for the 2015 fiscal year.
Accordingly, the allocation for 2015 is 347.12 billion birr for regular expenditure, 218.11 billion birr for capital expenditure and 209.38 billion birr for support to regional governments.
In addition, 12 billion has been earmarked for the implementation of sustainable developments, bringing the total to 786.12 billion birr in the 2015 Ethiopian fiscal year.
The Ministers council unanimously decided the budget and forward it to the House of Peoples’ Representatives for approval, the Prime Minister’s Office said.
