Al-Shabaab carries ambush attacks in Galguduud region
Reports from Galguduud state indicated that Al-Shabaab terrorist group has carried out ambush attacks targeting telecommunication companies’ antennas and the water wells used by livestock farmers, SONNA reported.
State Media reporter Mr. Jeilani Hazan Osman reported that communication tools and water wells were destroyed in Adakibir and Qayib areas under Bahdo District.
The reports also stated that the militants fled from the area they attacked. There is no communication between Bahdo District and the surrounding regions. Destroying water wells and telecommunication tools shows Al-Shabab’s determination in harming the community affected by the drought.
