Quick Hits on the Titans From Thursday of Texans Week

The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports to continue preparations for Saturday’s game vs the Texans at Nissan Stadium.
Here’s a look at the Titans topics of the day in quick-hitting fashion:
-Quarterback Ryan Tannehill (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel announced.
Malik Willis will start on Saturday, and on Thursday Vrabel talked about his preparation.
“Good,” Vrabel said of Willis. “The leadership, his grasp of what we’re doing and the gameplan has been good. Now we have to go out and be ready to play and execute. That is the most important thing, that we try to focus each and every week to prepare as a starter. I think he is excited for the opportunity.”
-Former University of Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs, signed earlier in the week, spoke to reporters after today’s practice.
Here’s a clip:
-The Titans placed center Ben Jones and cornerback Terrance Mitchell on Injured Reserve on Thursday, while signed offensive lineman Daniel Munyer to the active roster.
