Irreecha (also called Irreessa or Dhibaayyuu), is thanksgiving holiday celebrating the end of the winter in Oromia RegionEthiopia.

According to announcement from Oromo Abba Gada Association, Irreechaa 2016/2023 festival will be celebrated on Ethiopia’s September 26 and 27 consecutively.

Accordingly, Hora Finifnnee Irreechaa festival will be celebrated on February 26 and the Hora Harsadii festival on February 27 E.C.

Abbaa Gadaa Association urged all Oromo people, ethnic groups and lovers of the Irreecha festival to attend the Irreechaa the beautiful thanksgiving festival of the Horn of Africa.
