Blinken Travels to Middle East Start Gaza Ceasefire Talks

US Secretary of State, Antonio Blinken headed to the Middle East to kick start Gaza Ceasefire talk following the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.
This is his 11th trip to the region since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
In his recent trip to the Middle East, Antonio Blinken expected to discuss with regional leaders on the importance of ending the war in Gaza, and post conflict Palestine plan.
He will also discuss on how to reach a diplomatic solution to the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
“Throughout the region, Secretary Blinken will discuss the importance of bringing the war in Gaza to an end, securing the release of all hostages, and alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people,” indicated the State Department statement.
Blinken will also underline that additional food, medicine, and other humanitarian aid must be delivered to civilians in Gaza.
Despite President Joe Biden and seven other western leaders called the war in Gaza to end, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has a firm stance to continue the war, per Reuters.
Israel intensified its military operation in Gaza and Lebanon in recent days despite it eliminated key Hamas and Hezbollah leaders.
