Salale University Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Fiche City Administration for MESOB One-Stop Service Project
Salale University has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Fiche City Administration on the collaboration of the MESOB Project (One-Stop Service Center). The agreement focuses on the establishment of a One-Stop Service through Network Infrastructure Development, System Integration, and ICT Support Services Partnership between Salale University and Fiche City Administration.
During the event, the President of Salale University, Dr. Fayera Dinsa, warmly welcomed invited guests, participants, and officials. In his opening remarks, he highlighted the importance of institutional collaboration in supporting the country’s digital transformation agenda and improving public service delivery.
The Mayor of Fiche City Administration, Mr. Kifilu Kebede, explained the significance of the agreement for the participants. He stated that the collaboration is connected with the already existing tripartite agreement among Salale University, Fiche City Administration, and the North Shoa Zone Administration. He also emphasized that the government is currently focusing on digitalization to simplify the lives of citizens and improve government services through the MESOB One-Stop Service Center initiative.
Furthermore, Mr. Teshome Mulugeta , ICT Director of Salale University, presented the implementation scenarios and technical approaches for executing the national MESOB project. He explained the university’s responsibility in supporting the community through impactful ICT projects while maintaining the required standards and quality of service delivery.Finally, representatives of both institutions officially agreed and signed the Memorandum of Understanding, marking an important milestone in strengthening collaboration for digital governance and community service improvement.
