Arsi University Announced Updated University Logo
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia — August 24, 2026
Arsi University has announced the adoption of an updated version of its official logo, featuring slight modifications to its design and the arrangement of the language captions.
According to the University, the captions on the new logo are arranged in the following order:
- Afaan Oromo – First
- Amharic – Second
- English – Third
The University also highlighted a spelling change in the Afaan Oromo caption. The former “Yunivarsiitii Arsii” has been changed to “Yuunivarsiitii Arsii.”
Arsi University has called on all stakeholders, including staff, students, partners and other members of the University community, to recognize and use the newly updated logo in accordance with the specified caption order.
The University expressed its appreciation for the cooperation and continued support of all stakeholders.
