The Government of Japan is to maximize Cooperation and Partnership in the fields of Science and Higher Education.

(April2.2021)Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan to Ethiopia, His Excellency Toshio Ida, paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Prof. Afewerk Kassu,State Minister at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

During their meeting, the State Minister acknowledged the contribution of the Government of Japan and institutions which are contributing in the fields of Science and Higher Education. The state Minister has also suggested new cooperation and partnership areas including employment opportunities to well-trained Ethiopian nationals in Japan.

At the meantime, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Japan to Ethiopia, His Excellency Toshio Ida, has also noted the importance of orchestrated efforts to maximize the existing cooperation and partnership between the two countries.
