Ethiopia – #Kenya: President Uhuru Kenyatta, has arrived at at Bole International Airport today. The President has been accompanied by investors and high-level Kenyan politicians, according to the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “During his stay in Ethiopia, President Uhuru Kenyatta will hold discussions with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed on bilateral and regional issues of common concern.”
The President’s Ethiopia visit comes after Jeffrey Feltman, the U.S. Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, visited Kenya on June 06 following his trip to the Gulf countries of Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates as part of the U.S’ diplomatic pressure to stop the ongoing civil war in #Tigray.
Upon arrival at the airport, President Kenyatta was received by Prime Minister Abiy and high level government officials.
