Rift Valley University has named its Dirre Gafarsa campus after the artist Hachalu Hundessa.
The ceremony was attended by Rift Valley University President Dr. Abbabaa Gammachuu said that we have changed the name of the Dirre Gafarsa Campus to the name of the artist Hachalu Hundessa so that the history of the artist will not be forgotten and remembered forever.
The work of the artist Hachalu Hundessa will always live with us, he said, adding that his work will always live in the hearts of all Oromo.
The ceremony was attended by the Leader of the Oromo Congress Party, Professor Mararaa Guddinaa and by family, fans, scholars, youth and students of Rift Valley University.
