Secondary School Leaving Examination (SSLE) will be given at Universities starting from this year- MOE Ethiopia.
The Minister of Education, Prof. Berhanu Nega, visited secondary and model schools in Hossaina, Worabe and Wolkite towns.
During his visit with the students and the school community, he said that the high school leaving exams will be given at the university, not at the schools.
According to the Minister, the high school entrance exam will continue to be offered at universities until it startup of the online offering.
He said the decision to administer the high school leaving exams at the university was designed to prevent exam theft and fraud.
According to Berhanu, the Ministry of Education is taking various other measures to improve the quality of education.
The Minister visited all three secondary schools and planted green fingerprinting seedlings.
