Ethio Telecom Reports 61.3bln Birr Annual Revenue
State-run Ethio Telecom on Thursday reported a 61.3 billion birr revenue in the 2021/22 fiscal year that ended on June 7.
The annual revenue, however, is 88 percent of the company’s the target for the fiscal year, its CEO Frehiwot Tamiru told reporters.
On Thursday, CEO Frehiwot Tamiru told reporters that the company’s customers total also reached 66 million.
The CEO, however, said the telecom company was able to achieve the target to increase customers.
Ethiopia telecom’s subscribers have now reached 66 million, up by 2 million from the target set for the year.
