President Hassan Sheikh appoints the Mayor of Mogadishu
The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H. E, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud referring to the proposal of the Ministry of Interior and Reconciliation of the Federal Government of Somalia, appointed Mr. Yusuf Hussein Jimale as the Governor and the Mayor of Mogadishu.
This appointment was based on Governor Yusuf Hussein Jimale’s knowledge and experience. He previously held this position and played an important role in the reconstruction and development of Banadir Region.
President Hassan Sheikh urged Governor Yusuf Jimale to give priority to the stabilization and security plan of the capital, reconciliation, strengthening cooperation between the security agencies and the community of Banadir Region, the beauty and broadcasting of basic services and any other obstacles for the government.
