Ethiopian Airlines Renew Agreement with Travelport+
Ethiopian Airlines Group on Thursday signed a renewed agreement with Travelport+, a global technology firm that powers bookings for hundreds of thousands of travel suppliers worldwide.
The two companies have been working together in distributing Travelport’s Galileo for more than a decade.
The agreement signed on Thursday extends their collaboration for additional four years and remains effective until the end of 2026.
The renewed agreement includes Travelport’s new features and products to be deployed in Ethiopia’s agency market.
“We are very happy to strike a renewed deal with Travelport to distribute Travelport+ and other related products in Ethiopian market,” said Mesfin Tasew, Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group.
“Our long-standing journey with Travelport remains very fruitful and useful for both parties and Travel Agencies in Ethiopia.
Headquartered in London, United Kingdom and operating in more than 180 countries around the world, Travelport+ is the world’s leading distribution system.
The company has been very successful in working with Ethiopian Airlines for the past 15 plus years.
