SafariCom Ethiopia is looking for a qualified person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Safaricom Ethiopia’s 2G, 3G and 4G mobile services are available in 11 cities from today, including the capital and the country’s second largest city Dire Dawa. The company plans to launch services in a total of 25 cities by April 2023 to meet the 25% population coverage obligation in its licence. Safaricom Ethiopia is building a wholly-owned mobile network and also has infrastructure sharing and interconnection agreements in place with Ethio Telecom. Safaricom Ethiopia’s vision is to transform lives through a digital future for all Ethiopians.

Position 1: Corporate Account Manager
Job Requirements
Marketing, Sales, Business administration or Economics Degree, or relevant degree with over 4 years’ experience in sales, marketing, customer/account management.
Post graduate certification in Sales & Marketing, business administration will be an added advantage.
Exposure in Service and/or Customer management for major corporate clients, commercially savvy with a detailed understanding of the technologies the company is selling and issues that typically arise
Industry certifications would be an added advantage (ITIL Foundation, MCP/MCSE, CCNA etc.)
Understanding of English and local language both written and spoken.
Literacy in basic computer applications such as MS word, excel, outlook, etc.
Ability to cope with pressure from customers while delivering quality service.
Ability to accurately perform cash transactions.
Knowledge of Telecommunication products and services.
Good listening and critical problem-solving skills.
Well-developed presentation skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (articulate) coupled with good listening and critical reasoning skills.
Customer handling, Account management and customer retention skills

Position 2: Regional Sales Manager
Job Requirements
Marketing, Sales, Business administration or Economics Degree, or relevant degree with over 6 years’ experience in sales, marketing, customer/account management.
Post graduate certification in Sales & Marketing, business administration will be an added advantage.
Industry certification e.g., Cisco (CCNA/CCDA and above), CISSP, AWS, Microsoft Azure or similar will be an added advantage
Experience in sales management of ICT and enterprise solution is an added advantage
Experience in B2B sales and operation management
Team player, strong influence and relationship management
Ability to engage and influence at all levels of management, internally and externally.
Has worked in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and must have good problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills

Position 4: Territory Account Manager
Job Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in a business or related field
At least 3 years exposure in Service and/or Customer management for major corporate clients, commercially savvy with a detailed understanding of the technologies the company is selling and issues that typically arise
Work experience of 2 years in field sales, preferably B2B environment
Tech Savvy, Quick learner with an affinity to technology development and advancements
Good Knowledge of general Safaricom products and services, and expert knowledge of Safaricom EBU products and services, as well as internal processes
Demonstrate ability to implement processes and handle cross functional issues from end to end.
Demonstrate high level of integrity and strict adherence to laid down process while putting customer first
Innovative with great negotiation skills

Position 5: Specialist: Business Intelligence
Job Requirements:
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
Proven experience as a BI Developer
Industry experience is preferred
Background in data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modelling) and data mining
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI)
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude

Position 6: Specialist: Business Intelligence (Power BI)
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as a Power BI specialist.
Industry experience is preferred
