According to Horn Review news Safaricom Ethiopia fired its Managing Director Anwar Sousa. Shareholders decided to fire Anwar according to news from Menaharia FM 99.1. Egyptian origin Greece citizen, Anwar, was on a hot seat of Safaricom Ethiopia because of his poor management of local issues and the business. It is to be recalled that several Egyptians who came to do business by his order were deported from Ethiopia last year.
